The very name of the Kruger National Park evokes images of crisp, clear winter mornings with an orange sun rising from the horizon, the early morning call of lions in the distance and the whickering alarm call of the zebra. This is Mother Africa’s greatest piece of paradise, always stirring with adventure, and my aim is to bring you as close to the action as possible and help you take home some amazing pictures of this special part of the world.
We start our exciting photography safari holiday with a four night stay at Klaserie, a private game reserve in the Greater Kruger Park. Klaserie features en suite air conditioned bedrooms, a swimming pool and a lookout hide facing onto a waterhole. (Waterholes are popular destinations for a variety of animals throughout the day.)
After Klaserie we move to Maroela, a private tent camp near Satara, for four nights camping. Satara is famous for being “big cat country” (lion, leopard and cheetah). At Maroela you will enjoy comfortable safari-style tents, delight in the textures of the bush and marvel at the tastes of our delicious campfire cooking (one of our guides is also a gourmet chef!).
The price for the nine day safari is around £3,000 (to be confirmed), which includes:
The price excludes international flights, all meals/drinks other than stated, items of a personal nature (such as laundry, shop purchases, porterage, tips and gratuities etc.) and photographic equipment (such as bean bags and camera lenses).
Places are limited to four so please book early to avoid disappointment.
