On a walk around Bloubergstrand in Cape Town I noticed these four carved wooden giraffes being sold by a vendor along the beachfront. I quickly bent down to snap the four figures against the background of Table Mountain. The visual joke is, of course, that it isn’t always immediately clear to the viewer that these are WOODEN giraffes.
Limited Edition
The size given indicates the actual image size. The paper size will be somewhat larger to accommodate signing of the print on the front (if applicable) and to provide protection for the image.
Prints are sold unframed. Framing options can be discussed at the time of purchase and will incur additional cost.
Prints are sold with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Materials
Lambda C-Type printing gives true continuous tone, ultra sharp photographic images with crisp and precise edge to edge printing and absolutely no distortion. C-Type prints bring the darkroom into the digital age: true photographic prints are made using chromogenic materials and processes but with the light source coming from a digital file, rather than directly from a negative. Light sensitive silver halide paper is exposed using an LED or laser light source and put through a conventional chemical developing process.
