Rain Envelops Viñales

Description

This picture of a rainstorm passing over Viñales (in the Pinar del Río region of Cuba) was made from distant elevated ground. Although the elements can be a cause of irritation to people (in this case having to run for cover from the deluge), the image reminds us of the intimate relationship that exists between the elements and the landscape, and that the more extreme the elements are the more productive the landscape can be (both agriculturally and photographically).

Limited Edition

The size given indicates the actual image size. The paper size will be somewhat larger to accommodate signing of the print on the front (if applicable) and to provide protection for the image.

Prints are sold unframed. Framing options can be discussed at the time of purchase and will incur additional cost.

Prints are sold with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Materials

The picture is printed using the Giclée process on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 fine art paper. Giclée Fine Art Prints are extremely high quality, archival grade, digital prints that use an ultra fine inkjet printing process to produce images of intense colour and vibrancy. Giclée printing is widely regarded as one of the very best photographic and fine art printing methods currently available.
